Machinery Operator
We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Machinery Operator. In this key position, you will
operate mill equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This person needs to be team-oriented and
dependable.
Wage – $20/Hour
Accountabilities:
• Safely and efficiently operate mill equipment to meet department goals and job
responsibilities
• Read and follow production specifications
• Achieve department goals and facility by building and maintaining a working relationship
with maintenance and production departments
• Perform pre-shift inspection and daily quality checks.
Qualifications:
• Proficient or demonstrate the ability to quickly become proficient in:
o Operating mill equipment (debarker, Headrig, resaw, edger, trimmer)
o Follow product cut sheet information
o Reading and understanding cut sheet
• Excellent communications skills and work well in a team setting
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to read and follow all Lock-Out Procedures of the jobs being performed
• Strong commitment to safe.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs and move equipment as needed
