Introduction
The Investigations division of the San Carlos Apache Police Department is dedicated to conducting thorough, impartial, and professional criminal inquiries across the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. Our detectives investigate major felony offenses, gather forensic evidence, interview witnesses, and work collaboratively with tribal, federal, and state law enforcement partners to protect our community and ensure justice.

Civil and administrative investigations are conducted to maintain accountability, examine inter-agency procedures, and protect constitutional rights. Our investigators cooperate closely with tribal authorities and federal justice departments when required.
Internal Affairs
Internal Affairs conducts comprehensive inquiries within the police department to address allegations of misconduct, review officer actions, and uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and public trust in tribal policing.

The San Carlos Apache Police Department is the tribal police agency responsible for law enforcement within the jurisdiction of the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. The Agency is responsible for about 17,000 tribal members.
