Introduction
The Records department of the San Carlos Apache Police Department serves as the central archive for all official law enforcement documentation across the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. Our team is responsible for maintaining, processing, and securely storing traffic collision reports, incident files, 911 dispatch logs, and public criminal justice documentation in accordance with tribal confidentiality policies.
Criminal Records
This section assists tribal members, legal representatives, and authorized employers with the following services:
- Criminal history background reviews
- Tribal and employer background check processing
- Official clearance letters (local and tribal verification)
- Fingerprint verification and justice documentation
Department Records Unit
This unit manages official case files and collision documentation investigated by San Carlos Apache Police officers:
- Traffic collision and accident reports on reservation roadways
- Citations, written warnings, and vehicle impound documentation
- Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) inter-agency case file requests
- Officer incident narratives and official case archives
Public Records Unit
The Public Records section processes formal information requests from community members, insurance providers, and legal counsel in compliance with tribal disclosure guidelines:
- Public offense summaries and certified collision reports
- 911 audio dispatch call logs and transmission documentation
- Civil Subpoena Duces Tecum processing
- Certified police case verification letters
