Public Defender

The Public Defender defends individuals who have active cases with the San Carlos Apache Tribal Court in the adult criminal court, juvenile court, and child welfare cases. Our caseload is comprised of individuals who have applied through our application process, or those who have been court appointed to our office. The office has also provided representation on appeal matters on behalf of our clients.
