Barbara May
Councilwoman May was elected to represent the Gilson Wash District in November 2020. She graduated from American Indian Bible College with an AA Degree in Social Work. Prior to being elected, she was in the Social Services field for 30 years, ranging from Tribal Child Protective Services, Case Management, Investigations, and Eligibility Management.
While serving the Gilson Wash Community, Mrs. May’s primary goals are housing, infrastructure, and Economic Development. In addition, Mrs. May’s dedication to Social Services has fueled her desire to create a healthier community for the Gilson Wash District.
