The San Carlos Apache Tribe owns and operates the KYAY FM Radio Station. In addition to the radio station, several local newspapers, not owned by the Tribe, report on daily events or subjects relating to the San Carlos Apache Tribe.

The Apache Messenger is operated within the reservation boundaries and publishes weekly. Editorials and articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the opinions, attitudes, or philosophy of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.
