Many diverse opportunities exist for the angler on the San Carlos Reservation with both warm water and cold water fisheries available. In addition, more than 100 small ponds, called tanks, dot the area, along with many smaller lakes and streams. The San Carlos Apache Tribe encourages visitors to respect the federal, state, and tribal laws that protect and preserve our natural environment. Please do not pick up, destroy or vandalize areas and items of cultural significance, artifacts, and archaeological ruins.
